Most boiler companies are good at the work and inconsistent at the follow-up. A customer gets a tune-up in October, hears nothing for two years, and calls whoever shows up first on Google when the pressure drops in January. Boiler.Management fixes the follow-up: a maintenance plan worth joining, reminders that reach the right people at the right time, and tune-up campaigns that keep your techs busy in the slow months. We run the marketing operations. Your team does the boiler work.
What "marketing operations" means for a boiler service company
Short answer: it is the repeatable machinery that brings existing customers back every year, measured as booked tune-ups and renewed plans rather than clicks.
New-customer marketing gets most of the attention because it is visible. The quieter half of a healthy boiler business is the base of homes you have already served. Those people already trust you, already know your techs by name, and already own equipment that needs annual attention. Reaching them costs a fraction of finding a stranger.
In practice we build five things, each with its own page on our services hub:
- a maintenance-plan program with a clear name, inclusions and price presentation
- consent-based reminders by text, email and post
- seasonal tune-up campaigns that move bookings into the shoulder months
- a renewal and retention routine so members stay on the books
- clean service data and a monthly scorecard so you can see what is working
Why the recurring base is worth building (check the arithmetic yourself)
Short answer: a modest plan with a decent renewal rate produces predictable revenue and fills idle tech hours, which is worth more than its sticker price suggests.
Take a hypothetical company with 1,200 past boiler customers. Suppose 20% join a plan in the first year, which gives 240 members. If the plan is priced at $240 a year, that is $57,600 in revenue you can see coming. If 80% renew, 192 members carry into year two before you sign anyone new. Change any of these inputs to your own numbers; the point is that every percentage point of renewal is real money and real booked hours.
The second benefit is scheduling. Members can be booked into June, August and early September, when phones are quiet, instead of piling into the first cold week. Our guide on maintenance-plan economics walks through the full calculation, including tech capacity per day.
Reminders only go to people who agreed to hear from you
Short answer: every reminder program we build starts with a consent record you can show, because Canada's anti-spam law expects senders to prove consent.
The CRTC's guidance on Canada's anti-spam legislation explains that commercial emails and texts need consent, must identify who sent them and must include a way to unsubscribe that works. We are a marketing service, not a law firm, so we don't give compliance advice. What we do is practical: we sort your customer list by what kind of permission you actually have, we design opt-in moments into invoices and plan sign-ups, and we make the unsubscribe path obvious. Our guide on building reminder sequences explains the approach in detail.
Proof from our HVAC and boiler work
Short answer: we have built and grown real boiler and heating businesses online, and those sites are live for you to check.
- A boiler-only site that pays for itself: CombiBoiler.ca earned 300% ROI, brings in 300+ leads a month and holds 500+ page-1 rankings on combi-boiler searches.
- A boiler division with a big service footprint: we built GasBoilers.ca for CANRO Heat; it covers 26+ BC communities and shows 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews, which is exactly the kind of reputation a plan launch needs.
- The parent heating company: CanroHeat.ca saw 250% lead growth.
These are new-customer results, and we say so plainly. The results page explains what transfers from them to a maintenance-plan program and what does not.
Who we work with, and where
Short answer: boiler and hydronic service companies of almost any size, in all ten provinces and three territories.
Boiler service looks different in each part of the country. Natural gas dominates primary heating in Alberta and Saskatchewan, while oil still heats a large share of homes in Nova Scotia and PEI, according to Statistics Canada. Those differences change what a plan includes and when reminders go out. Our coverage hub has a page for every region, with the regulators to know and the programs that affect boiler owners as of October 2026.
How we are different from a general HVAC agency
Short answer: we measure ourselves on renewals and booked maintenance visits, and we treat your customer list as an asset to protect, not a list to blast.
Boiler.Management is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA, who has more than 17 years of digital marketing experience and has built 150+ live HVAC websites. You own every account, every list and every message we write. There is no lock-in, and the pricing page shows exactly what each level includes. Frequently asked questions
What is Boiler.Management?
Boiler.Management is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for companies that maintain boilers and hydronic systems. It is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, headquartered in Vancouver and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. We are not a contractor and never service, install or repair a boiler.
Who sends the reminders to my customers?
Your company does, from your own accounts and under your own name. We design the program, write the messages, set up the timing in your software and report on results. Reminders go only to existing customers who have agreed to hear from you.
Do you give CASL advice?
No. We build reminder programs around consent records you can show, and we point you to the CRTC's own guidance on Canada's anti-spam law. For a legal opinion on your specific situation, talk to a lawyer.
We don't have a maintenance plan yet. Can you still help?
Yes, and that is often the easiest starting point. We help you name the plan, decide what it includes, present the price clearly and launch it to your existing customers first.
What does it cost?
A maintenance-program build usually sits on our Starter plan ($2,998 a month) or Growth plan ($4,498 a month). Website projects begin at $3,500 one-time. All prices are in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST for your province (GST and QST in Quebec).
Can you promise a renewal rate?
No. Nobody can honestly promise renewals, leads or rankings. We agree on the numbers to watch, report them monthly and change the plan when they stall.
